A. Product sales are difficult to forcast since each product can differ in function, features, and price. The best selling products appeal to the most common customers. In order to increase the sales volume, a vendor can subscribe to a plan that broadcasts his products to more price comparison search engines.
Posting Products
- Q. What types products can I sell (or offer for free) at Vendorsbay ?
A. Any product that stands in our pricing terms.
Getting Paid
- Q. When I sell products on Vendorsbay, how often am I paid for my sales?
A. The payment is sent the first business week of the month for the previous month's sales when you reach a minimum of 50$ in earnings.
- Q. How can I receive payment for my sales proceeds?
A. You can choose from PayPal, check, direct deposit, or wire transfer.
Benefits
- Q. Do registered vendors get a discount on purchases ?
A. Yes, once a vendor or company has listings posted for sale, they will receive a 15% discount on purchases of products sold by Vendorsbay (Not by vendors that are not related to us).
Taxes
- Q. How are my sales proceeds reported for tax purposes?
A. You may consult your tax adviser about how to report your sales proceeds based on any requirements that may apply.
- Q. How are my referral commissions reported for tax purposes?
A. If your referral commissions were over $200 for the tax year, a 1099 will be sent to you and submitted to the IRS. You may consult your tax adviser about how to report your referral commissions.
